starting to think about rehab

Carrie Greer just texted me: “will have rehab consult in next 2 or 3 days to prepare for eventual move to rehab floor – no timeframe but next step instead of regular room.”
Meredith is still in a sedated state. Carrie and the nurses are providing lots of stimulation to rouse her.
I cannot wait for Meredith to begin receiving hands-on treatment for her legs, arms, fingers.
Little sister Laura is going to a butterfly exhibit in Cincinnati today. Meredith would very much love to see that.

I can’t wait till she comes back to my class…coming back to join the beginners’ ensemble for another concert will be very nice 
That will be revealing God’s total awesomeness

Meredith’s story
On May 13, Meredith was diagnosed with Acute Necrotyzing Encephalopathy after being transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital the day before.
On June 1, after slowly being eased off her anti-seizure meds over the course of many days, Meredith started rehab. The doctors estimate that she may be released in mid-July.
Please pray that Meredith continues to improve and respond with her therapies and pray for continued strength for Meredith's parents, sister and extended family.

Praying for the return for her to be fully awake, and receptive to stimulation and rehab. She is God’s sweet child, and she will awake in His time. We pray it is soon. Josh, Carrie, Laura Campbell and the whole family are in our prayers also. The caregivers have the hardest job.
